Easiest way is to take JR express train `HARUKA’ for JR Kyoto station. It takes about one hour and fifteen minutes. Highway buses for JR Kyoto station are also available. There are many trains and buses to Osaka area.
There are some railway lines, JR line for Kyoto station, Hankyu line for Shijo-Kawaramachi, and Keihan line for Demachiyanagi.
There are seveal buses from JR Kyoto station (#17, #206) and from Shijo-Kawaramachi (#3, #17, #201) for Hyakumanben. From Demachiyanagi, you can walk to Hyakumanben in ten minutes. It takes about 20 minutes by taxi from JR Kyoto station to Kyoto University and costs about 1800 Japanese Yen. These estimates are subject to change depending on traffic condition.
Hyakumanben is the intersection of Imadegawa St. and Higashioji St.. Our lab is in Faculty of Engineering Bldg.No.10 in the right side of the map (#24).
