Research Interests

My research interests are in computer mediated intercultural collaboration, multi-agent systems and multilingual communication. My previous research concentrated in mobile culture in which I adopted ethnographical and sociological research methods to study mobile communication.

Currently I am working on the Language Grid Project which is an online multilingual service platform which enables easy registration and sharing of language services such as online dictionaries, morphological analysis, bilingual corpora, and machine translations.

Personal Information

Research student at Ishida & Matsubara laboratory, graduate school of Social Informatics, Kyoto University. Currently working on the Language Grid and in intercultural collaboration research.

I received a master's degree in Information Processing Science from the University of Oulu, Finland. I also studied as a research student at the Internet Engineering Laboratory in Nara Institute of Science and Technology regarding my master's thesis. From April 2009 I am going to start as a PhD-student at Ishida & Matsubara laboratory.
