BBS

The multilanguage BBS enables you to express, discuss and exchange information with other G30 Community members in numerous topics regarding School life, Daily life and Extracurricular Activities at the Graduate School of Informatics.

Bear in mind that forum categories are created by admins only, while the G30 Community members can create new topics within these categories to start a discussion, or reply to topics that have been already posted by others. Admins can edit or remove created topics and responses at any given time.

Dictionary

The dictionary function we have provided you with does not refer to the ordinary Web dictionary functions. Here, you are given the opportunity to create and classify your own user dictionaries by adding technical and domain specific words that machine translations cannot identify correctly, thus improving the quality of your machine translation results. G30 Community members can also share their dictionaries amongst themselves.

Parallel text

The parallel text function is similar to the Dictionary function in that it provides you with multilanguage text creation possibilities. This helps when you come across translated sentences that make no sense at all, so ar able to modify the translation results and add them into the text which helps the machine translator define the whole sentence.

When you come across documents that contain words, phrases and text in general, that are beyond your understanding; please take advantage of the text translation function we have provided. It can help you in multilanguage translations with a number translation paths, parallel texts and back-translation paths.

Web translation

This tool makes it possible for you to translate a whole web page into a language of your choice, once you have provided its URL address. So, we provide you with hands on Web translation editor that makes your work a lot easier to complete.
